The CV Assessment Process

Once you have clicked the order button of your choice, you will be asked to create an account with us and supply a few personal details. You will then be taken to our on-line payment facility. The facility is provided courtesy of Netbanx, one of the world's leading secure payment systems and one that is recommended by Lloyds TSB. If you are in any doubt about the security of this facility, please do not hesitate to email us at order@careerconsultants.co.uk and we will call you and take your payment details over the phone.

The on-line payment facility accepts all major debit and credit cards and therefore most transactions are accepted first time. If for any reason your payment card is not accepted, let us know and we will call you.

Once payment has been accepted, you will be directed back to the client area on www.careerconsultants.co.uk for you to upload your CV to the site in readiness for assessment. Our terms and conditions state a much longer turnaround than is usually the case. Depending on demand, we can normally turnaround a CV assessment in about two working days. If you are in a particular rush, for instance you have a pending job application, please advise us of this by email and we will do everything we can to supply the in-depth analysis of your CV and covering letter to meet your needs.

Every CV assessment conducted by Career Consultants is individually assessed by a trained consultant. It isn't therefore as instant a service as some clients may like. We prefer to focus on the quality of the advice we offer clients rather than speed. You will receive a commentary of over 500 words in length, a detailed assessment covering 40 important aspects that need to be included in a CV if it is to score a maximum 100 out of 100. Sections of your CV are cut and pasted into the on-line assessment page and held within your own secure area. The consultant adds over 500 words of advice on how to improve your CV to give it maximum impact. The assessment provides you with all the necessary feedback on your CV allowing you to decide what positive action needs to be taken.
There is also no obligation for you to order a CV writing package once you receive the CV assessment. Be assured that a CV assessment ordered from us is a standalone, in-depth, professional assessment with no strings attached, hence the reason we don't offer it for free.

Once your CV assessment is ready, we will notify you by email and remind you of your log-in details to log onto the client area of www.careerconsutlants.co.uk to view the various sections of the assessment.
